Red Arrows of Royal Air Force Escort USAF F-22 Raptor

The Red Arrows, Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team escort Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor of US Air Force. This photo taken over Langley Air Force Base by Sgt Samuel Rogers. The aircraft used by Red Arrows are British Aerospace BAe Hawk T1, which are very light and agile to conduct some extreme maneuver in the air.

Red Arrows Aerobatic Team is one of the major national-aerobatic team in the world. Formed in 1964 by British Royal Air Force based in RAF Scampton, England. In the special occasion, Red Arrows also become ambassadors for United Kingdom, promoting British in major air show around the world.

Red Arrows' special "dish" is diamond nine formation, which shown in the picture above. The BAe Hawk T1 lining up in straight line, generating perfect shaped of diamond. They have been using Hawk T1 since 1979 before its retired the Hawker Siddeley Gnat as predecessor. The red of Red Arrows represents agility, speed and precision of Royal Air Force.
