Lufthansa, German carrier is the fifth operator who operating giant Airbus A380-800. The first delivery received in 2010 and there is still one firm order is waited to be delivered. Currently Lufthansa operating about 13 A380-800s on its fleet. Most of them are in medium and long-haul flights, especially in international routes.

Airbus A380-800 has eight times higher maximum landing weight compared to Boeing 737-800 or equal to 394 tonnes.
