Tupolev Tu-160 is a strategic bomber aircraft of Russia. NATO gives a nickname to the aircraft as the 'Blackjack'. The picture shown yellowish thrust came out of the engines during takeoff on Russian Air Base somewhere.

Currently, the aircraft to enter modernization effort in 2016. The supersonic bomber aircraft will have brand new engines from Kuznetsov NK-32, these are even faster and more efficient. Apparently, Tu-160 is the only one Russian bomber in active production. Tupolev Tu-95 Bear still there but no longer in production.

The modernization variant of Tupolev Tu-160 to take role as prospective aviation complex for long range aviation (PAK-DA) and to be expected to enter service in 2020. Tupolev Tu-160 has the heaviest maximum takeoff weight for military non-transport aircraft, especially while carrying full-missiles and bombs.
