Lufthansa, German carrier is the fifth operator who operating giant Airbus A380-800. The first delivery received in 2010 and there is still one firm order is waited to be delivered. Currently Lufthansa operating about 13 A380-800s on its fleet. Most of them are in medium and long-haul flights, especially in international routes.

The picture shown A380-800 is touching down runway on the landing phase. While landing, the landing gear are fully retracted down, wings generate maximum lift force but thrust of engines should be set as minimum as possible to ease landing phase. Airbus A380-800 has eight times higher maximum landing weight compared to Boeing 737-800 or equal to 394 tonnes.
